    I’d buy this just for the backpack

    After trying several Color Nymph products, the first thing I want to mention is that the quality varies for some reason from kit to kit. That being said, I’ve always been pleasantly surprised by Color Nymph kits and this one is no exception.The kit includes an eyeshadow palette, mascara, blushes/highlighters, a double ended lip gloss, eyebrow powder, and, a few little brushes. The eyeshadow palette has a gorgeous set of colors but I was a little disappointed in their vibrancy. This is an issue I’ve found with this brand. Sometimes the shadows are well pigmented and sometimes it’s a struggle to get them to show up. This set falls somewhere in the middle. The mascara isn’t my style, but it’s nice. It gives a really subtle effect. It’s lightly lengthening but not volumizing. It gives a really natural effect without any clumping to speak of. I found it to be a perfect primer as I like a more voluminous look. The lip gloss is decent. Not something I’ll probably use too much! The lighter color in this pack reminds me of the concealer lip trend from the early 2000’s. As for the eyebrow powder and blush/bronzer, they’re not something I use a lot. I found the bronzer to be a little too pigmented for me (had to diffuse it with my foundation sponge).Overall, I’m still a fan of Color Nymph in general and this product hasn’t changed my mind. Plus it all came in this adorable faux leather mini backpack purse. Can’t wait to try it out in warmer weather. It would look pretty ridiculous to pair this tiny bag with a bunch of layers and a winter jacket. I can see this pairing well with a nice spring or summer single layer look. Can’t wait!
