Amazing staying power. Still had lip liner on after eating lunch.
This lip stain from Covergirl surprised me. I outlined my lips and added a similar color lipstick. The lipstick came off during lunch but my lined lips still had the color of this lip stain. You can easily color your lips with this lip stain since the applicator is larger than a lip pencil and softer. I got the Extra Witchy color which is a dark pink-purple. I will be ordering a few more because I love the staying power of this product.

Streaking wear.
It’s great but if I do wear it for an entire 12hour shift, I have to touch up intermittently or it’ll wear off unevenly and have streaks across my lips. Mostly looking like I’m only wearing lip liner. Color is perfect for me. It’s a tad bit sticky. Coverage is good at first. Does not provide hydration. It matches great with my Elf lip stain!

I don’t wear lipstick well. I was looking for something quick and easy but this is just as messy as lipstick. The color is amazing but application can be tricky. Not to mention it’s very drying, however when I put my chapstick over it the color didn’t budge so that’s good… Overall I’m upset I bought two.

This is a pretty great product. It does come off if it gets wet but it I liked it to use as a liner. Full lip not so great. I use another stain from another company to complete the look.

Love this color
This pen is highly pigmented. It smells like nothing, doesn’t go on thick, but does dry a bit sticky. It’s a smooth finish though, once you let it dry and apply a little gloss, which does not make it budge.

Received USED/ opened lipstain!
Major bummer. I was excited to get this lipstain in the Extra Witchy color, but I was shipped a lipstain with the plastic sticker seal already broken as if it has been opened and used already. There were also drops of the stain around the top of the applicator which I would not expect for a brand new unopened product. Clearly had been messed with. : / I know this is the seller/ manufacturer’s fault and not an Amazon worker because the broken-seal lipstain marker was then repackaged in an additional sealed plastic pouch. So, it had been repackaged for sale despite the sticker seal being obviously contaminated. Not sure I will try again to buy these here, even though the other color I got appears to be sealed and unused (I hope), but it was not packaged in an additional clear plastic pouch like the unsealed one. Honestly the factory sticker seal on these seems really insufficient and easily compromised. That’s probably CoverGirl’s fault, overall. But beware. Check your item closely upon receiving! I had to ask Amazon for a refund on this one. Also, the lipstain markers are way skinnier than I imagined, so it’s unlikely you get much product, and they surely would not last through many applications.
