NOT BLACKLIGHT REACTIVE
I thought these glowed under a black light but these one don’t. I would like to see a black & white crayon with a couple glow or blacklight colors but I think they purposefully don’t have that combo, make you pay for more blacklight colors than needed, just wanted to try a few to decide if I liked before dropping so much money on these.Pros-They laid down color smoothly & didn’t smell or seem too chemical. I would feel comfortable applying to my kids. Easy to remove.Cons-Smears too easily & is too easy to remove, get on clothing. I just tried on my hand wrist for an hour& it stays waxy. After an hour I just took toilet paper & wiped off. If I were to use this on my 9 yr. old, whatever design I made would be a mess I think because she would accidentally smear it. I think I would prefer a paint that dries without flaking off. I went with these 1st because my daughter has very poor fine motor skills & I thought these would be easier for her to draw on herself with instead of paint, which they are. I can’t say how easy the color will come out of clothes or carpet yet since I only tried them briefly on myself.Update 2/19/19-Tried it on my face for. few hours. Pigment is nice but just to easy to smear. Maybe it could be set with powder or something but I didn’t try. I also noticed the handles are plastic and turn at the bottom (after removing upc sticker). The ‘crayon’ only extends 1in. past the tip or what you see in the pictures. The black holder is about 3.5 inches.
