Nice for a gift
Very cute gift set for young girls. It comes with so much. Per the listing: ativity and personal style with the FAO Schwarz Ultimate Makeup Kit. This 25-piece cosmetic collection brings together makeup for eyes, lips and cheeks, giving young beauty fans plenty of ways to mix, match and create their own looks. The assortment includes 3 lipsticks, 2 lip glosses, 3 eyeshadow palettes, 4 cream eyeshadows, blush, highlighter, 3 brushes and additional makeup essentials and accessories.The carrying case as well is well made, the handle is well stitched, so they can keep their makeup all together. I dont think I would give it to a 6 year old like the listing says, I would say older since it’s real makeup. Or maybe younger if they have like one of those doll heads they want to play dress up with. The high quality of this does make it seem like a nicer gift, but given how mature the tones and shades are, I dont know if you want really young kids playing with it.With everything included, I would say it’s a good value.

Cute but expensive
This FAO Schwarz ultimate makeup kit is really cute. The carry case it comes in is totally gift presentable and lovely. That being said, the makeup is basically just real makeup. It’s not necessarily made for kids which is why I find it a bit expensive for what it is. The quality overall is good, but I think I’d love it more at a better price point. The carry case zipper works well and feels durable. I would recommend it if you find it on sale.

Bright, Fun Makeup Set With Lots to Play With
My 5-year-old is obsessed with this makeup set. She loves bright colors, so all of the different eyeshadows, lip products, blushes, and accessories are right up her alley. She has had so much fun experimenting with the different colors and creating her own looks.I saw some reviews mentioning concerns about the makeup quality, but based on our experience, it has been perfectly fine for kid use. The biggest plus for me is that it washes off easily, which makes cleanup much less stressful.The case is also a really nice feature. It is much larger than I expected, a pretty pink color, and keeps everything together instead of having little makeup pieces scattered everywhere.It is definitely on the pricier side for a kids makeup set, but it comes with a lot, the presentation is nice, and the quality has been good for us. My daughter absolutely loves it.

Cute set
I got this as a gift for my young daughter. I’m not actually sure she’s going to be interested in this, but I decided to give it a try. The kit comes with a beautiful train case. The material is a see-through plastic, but the base and the top are both pink and a pleather material. It has a golden glitter accent and the handle is also a golden glitter and it has a nice zipper closure. There are three cream eyeshadows, three lipsticks, four mini eyeshadow palettes, one glittery lip gloss one non-glitter lip gloss, a highlighter, three blushes, a mirror compact, two eyeshadow sponges, two little mini brushes and a set of brushes. Everything appears to be made in China. I have swatched several of the items. I’ve swatched one of the lipsticks, both of glosses, one eyeshadow palette, the highlighter and one blush. The pigmentation of the lip products are really good actually and they have no smell at all. The eyeshadow palette that I swatched is more neutral tone and has three shimmer shades and one matte. Quality of this is just okay. Pigmentation is quite low, however that’s what you should expect for kids makeup. The cream eyeshadow I swatched is really pretty and it has pretty good pigmentation. I just lightly dipped my finger in there to swatch it. The highlighter is also a more muted tone which is nice and the blush is actually a little bit pigmented but you can put it on lightly and it won’t be too much. The blush I swatched is matte and it looks a little bit chalky on me. The four brushes don’t look to be very high quality. It’s almost textured in the fibers and feels very scratchy. The eyeshadow brushes are all kind of bluntly cut and they don’t look good quality at all. So that’s another thing to keep in mind. The mirror compact is really cool. It has it has a mirror in it and then it has slots in it so you can put the eyeshadow palette or the blush palette or a singular blush in blush. The singular blushes and the eyeshadow palettes all have a tab on them so you have to orient them in the right way to fit in the pallet but they do fit. However, they don’t lock into the pallet so they will be kind of flopping around in there. The palette also has an extra space that’s rectangular in shape and I don’t see anything that would fit in there. The lids on the blushes and the eyeshadow palettes doesn’t feel very secure so they could get easily lost. Overall, I think this is super cute introduction to play makeup.

Quality clear case with handle! Makeup Ok.
When I see the brand f a o schwartz, i’m expecting high-end quality. The clear plastic zip makeup case has even seeams. It’s so nice and sturdy and has a nice wide interlocking zipper that flows smoothly. Even when you empty the case, it remains mostly rigid Because it has a thicker, flexible plastic material.The makeup quality is only medium quality. In my opinion, because the sparkly cream eyeshadows and the sparkly highlighter and lip gloss remind me more something that young teenager would wear. All 3 lipstick shades are very vibrant. Intense reddish, pink colors and so are the blush colors. They are all very bright and vivid, almost like stage makeup. The bronzer highlighter looks more neutral and something most any one could wear, but it too has a lot of sparkle and micah in the formula to cause a shimmer on the skin. I wish they had included a little higher quality makeup and some more neutral and everyday colors. The clear case is very nice quality though and can be used for storing anything!

It’s real makeup
i was a little stunned at the dollar amount for this kit – $45 – definitely gave me pauseThen i realized this is all real makeup – like it’s not pretend plastic lipstick – like there’s actual color and the eye shadow is powder, etc.For this price point, i probably could have gotten some drug store makeup and it would have been as goodWhy would a kid need this? I would rather my kids just play with my makeup and call it a day – especially since the quality is kinda hit/miss – like the color isn’t saturated – it just looks cheap and I’m scared they’ll have an allergic reaction to it because of their sensitive skin

Fantastic makeup set for kids
This is a really awesome makeup set for kids. It comes with a ton of makeup and a really nice bag. The makeup that it comes with is great for children. It’s easy for them to use and it’s pigmented but it’s also washable. I love that it comes with several different color palettes and different tools to use. I also like that there’s space in the bag left over after all the packaging is removed so my daughter can store the rest of her makeup in it. I love that she can try different types of makeup as well. Overall, I highly recommend it. It’s really an all-encompassing makeup set with decent quality makeup.
