Fun colors, but difficult to remove
These face paint sticks are super fun to use. The rainbow colors are bright and show up nicely, which is what drew me to them in the first place. They are easy to apply and the colors show up nicely for parades, festivals, and events where you want something bold and noticeable. The problem for me was the wear and removal. They smudge very easily, so if you accidentally touch your face or get warm, the design can start to blur faster than expected. Then on the other side of it, they were harder to remove than I thought they would be. I figured if it smudged that easily it’d come right off, but it didn’t. It took more scrubbing than I wanted, which is not ideal for something going on your face especially if you have sensitive skin like I do. Overall, they’re usable and the colors are fun, but unfortunately the combination of easy smudging and tougher cleanup make these a no go for me.

So good points and bad points.The good:Very easy to apply.Very quick to apply.Applies clean, clear lines of each colorColors are generally vibrant and opaque so they show up very well on all skin types.Very portable.Just a touch of water on the end will activate them so they go on easier.The bad:The yellow is a bit too faint and not as opaque. But it’s not bad. Just not great.They sweat off in no time. Pride in is June.I had to reapply them like 8 times to keep them on for a 4 hour market.I couldn’t get them to remove cleanly with soap and water. But I did reapply so much maybe I pushed it into my pores.Anyway overall, I would use them again and again. But there’s flaws. They’re just so fun I didn’t care really.

Good application, but a lot of wasted product
These rainbow sticks are really convenient and offer solid application (literally). I appreciate their size and shape, which makes it easy to carry around and easy to hold. The colors are fantastic and apply smoothly and quickly! It stays on pretty well but can smudge if rubbed. Removal was okay- you will likely need some added assistance like coconut oil depending on your skin. Also try to keep it away from clothing if you can. Unfortunately a lot of it gets wasted because there is no way to get to the makeup beneath the plastic edge. If there was a way to “push up” this would be significantly better but as it stands for the price you are paying you are not getting as much as you could.

Wish there was more but beautiful application!
My young daughter understood the assignment – without me explaining how it works or what it is for she immediately covered herself in rainbows. It applies in thick vibrant color seamlessly, which is so fun and cool.It is like face paint so it rubs off on everything it touches, so perhaps not ideal as fully body paint indoors. At the same time was tricky to remove fully from skin (I ended up covering my daughter in coconut oil and then wiping it off to get it all off).Unfortunately her one time use covering her legs and arms as shown in my photo almost used up both sticks entirely. I briefly thought maybe it can twist to reveal more because there is definitely more pigment inside but it doesn’t have that function. That felt like a waste since it seems like more than half the face paint is hidden under the container.I love this for quickly swiping rainbows on people within seconds, but I feel like there should be more useable stick for the price.
