Fun for July Festivities
These are super cute, and all of my friends and I had a great time using them over the 4th of July weekend. Not much to feel patriotic about these days, but it was still fun to get a little festive.Application was pretty easy straight out of the tube. The stick design makes it convenient to glide onto skin without needing extra gel or glue, though looking at the product listing images where people have it applied in super clean, crisp, particular patterns… there’s just no way. It’s body glitter, so it naturally spreads out a bit unevenly and leaves a bit of a mess, but that’s exactly what I expected and was completely ready for.The sticks come packed with product, and getting a 2-pack means you get way more than enough to share around. Honestly, it comes with so much that I can’t imagine ever running out as long as I don’t lose track of the tubes. The red, white, and blue glitter pieces have a great shimmer in sunlight, and once it dries down on your skin, it stays put reasonably well through heat and outdoor moving around without flaking off everywhere right away. Soap and warm water took it off easily enough at the end of the day without harsh scrubbing. After washing it off, I only found a few scattered glitter pieces here and there in the weeks following.Overall, I’m really happy with this set. It’s a fun, cheap way to add some festive flair to a party or event, and you get plenty of product for the price.
