    Good starter set for a beginner

    Cute starter makeup set with all the essentials: concealer, color corrector, eyeshadow palette, lipstick palette, eyeliner pencil, eyebrow pen, and mascara.There’s a surprising amount of variety in both palettes, with each having 15 different eyeshadows and 15 different lip colors ranging from white, rose pink, mauve, umber, crimson, and black. The individual trays themselves are smaller than most other palettes, but have just the right amount of product to play around with.The color corrector and concealer stick are light & creamy and could be used as a highlighter, but only comes in one pale shade which is disappointing if your skin is any darker than a slight tan.Aside from the standard mascara and eyeliner, it’s also worth noting the eyebrow pen is dual-sided with one end having a notched hair-like “marker” and a spoolie brush on the other.All in all, a solid beginner kit for someone younger or looking to experiment with makeup without having to commit to more expensive products, but it’s definitely made with fair-skinned ladies in mind!

    This would be a decent starter set for a young girl (or recently out trans woman) looking to get into makeup, as it’s inexpensive but a fairly comprehensive pallet. Lower quality but everything you need to find your shade and get started.

    Giftable Makeup Kit with Some Standout Items

    I was expecting a low-end makeup kit that would be fun for beginners to play around with and try different looks. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and performance of most of the items. The lippie pallet contains many shades ranging from warm to cool tints, but all are natural looking. Even the one that is blackish just results in a dark rosy tint. The lippies are moisturizing and feel like a balm. They are easy to swipe on with a finger. Some of the shades can double as creamy blush. The lippie pallet is a winner. The eyeshadows are a decent drugstore quality. All are matte, and they are mostly neutral shades. The lighter shades are a little chalky and do not blend well. The darker shades are better, and the purple and gray shades are winners. Both pallets shut securely and are durable. The makeup brush is soft and firm; it will work for both pallets. The eyebrow pencil is a surprising winner for me; it glides on easily and looks natural. The built-in spoolie helps blend the pencil, which is a light-to-medium brown shade. This eyebrow pencil is better than many high-end pencils I’ve used. The mascara is a decent quality and goes on without clumping or flaking. I’m not a fan of either of the concealers, which are both suited for light and fair skin, which I have. The potted concealer doesn’t cover anything for me. It just seems to disappear on my skin and not do anything. The tube concealer sits on top of my skin, looking cakey, and emphasizes pores and lines. The black eyeliner is nice. It’s creamy enough to glide on easily without tugging. Overall, this kit is a great value with some standout items like the eyebrow pencil and lippie pallet.

    Palettes de maquillage 💄

    Une palette avec les rouges à lèvres et une palette avec les ombres à paupières. Un fard à joues ,un anticerne , un eye-liner, un mascara et un crayon pour les yeux ! L’ensemble est rangé dans une boite et non une trousse. Les couleurs sont faciles à appliquer pour les ombres, mais également pour les rouges à lèvres au pinceau. Eye-liner et crayon sont fluides, par contre le mascara a un pinceau qui n’applique pas bien. Hormis ce soucis, L’ensemble est assez compacte avec du choix !
