Bold, glossy, and non-sticky — a great drugstore lip gloss
The Rimmel Oh My Gloss Slip Stick in shade 400 Rebel is a bold, fun lip product that delivers a gorgeous high-shine finish. The red-toned color looks more intense in the tube than on the lips — it applies as a rich, sheer-to-medium red that you can easily build up for a more dramatic look or keep light for everyday wear.Formula-wise, this is one of the more comfortable drugstore lip glosses I’ve tried. It glides on smoothly thanks to the Argan Oil and Vitamin E, and it doesn’t feel sticky or heavy. The non-sticky texture is a real win — no hair sticking to your lips on a windy day. It also leaves a subtle stain behind as it wears off, which is a nice bonus.Longevity is decent for a gloss — realistically about 2–3 hours before you’ll want to reapply, especially after eating or drinking. The six-hour claim is optimistic, but for a gloss at this price point, that’s pretty standard. Reapplication is easy and the product layers well.Overall, Rebel is a great shade for anyone wanting a bold pop of color without the full commitment of a matte lipstick.

Faint color but cute
The color is very faint, but that was to be expected since it doesn’t seem like this is a regular lipstick. The color is very cute over my lips though, which is awesome. My lips are also super dry and to be honest, this really doesn’t help with that as much as products like Aquaphor. I will continue to use for the color, though.

Easy to apply red lipstick
This is a great in between of a gloss and lipstick. It has good staying power without staining and drying out the lips, and it keeps the lips moisturized like a gloss while still having a dramatic color. The color is a vibrant red which is flattering on all skin tones. It does not have a fragrance or taste, so it’s great for sensitive skin. The texture is soft, moisturizing, and not sticky. This is a great affordable and easy to apply red lipstick.

Great colour, messy application
This is a gorgeous lip colour, a berry shade with blue undertones which makes my teeth look whiter. Applied fully, it is a bold and glossy wearable red. It lasts a long time, as well. However it’s such a strong colour that it is really difficult to apply directly from the tube. The shape doesn’t allow for neat application. I would use a lip brush or be aware you will have to tidy it up afterwards. The other option is to apply a bit and then smudge with your finger- there’s so much pigment in this that it’s versatile enough to be used as a lighter almost lip stain effect. Either way it definitely suits me and I am pleased with it. I just wish the stick was differently shaped.

Great moisturizing lipgloss
This is a pigmented lipgloss. It is very moisturizing. I chose this color because it is closest to the raisin color. It looks less vibrant on than it does in stick form. The quality is really good due to the moisturizing properties. Great value for the price. The texture is very smooth like it melts with body temperature but it doesn’t break off like chapstick. The application is standard like a balm.

Nice lipstick!
I needed a new lipstick so all the best oh my gloss and remove slipstick from the Amazon vine testing program. It came well packaged without any damage upon delivery in its own little presentation box.The lipstick goes on very well and definitely does hydrate your lips, it gives a really nice gloss effect that I absolutely love.I wore it fir a mday and by the time I had a meal and some drinks it did start to wear off but I was happy with how long it lasted. You do pay a couple more pounds for Rimmel but I think it’s worth it and I can recommend it if you want a nice deep coloured glossy lipstick that lasts.

Great quality which you expect from Rimmel
I really like this Oh My Gloss! Rimmel Slip Stick, I got it in the shade 400 Rebel and it is a really beautiful colour. It goes on easily, thanks to the slanted tip applicator, it provides a good coverage and is a nice glossy lip stick. I really like that it’s keeping my lips hydrated while also making my lips look great too. So far I’ve only had good experiences with this Slip Stick, it seems to have a pretty good longevity and will stay glossy for a few hours, not sure on the 12 hours Rimmel claim as I haven’t worn it for more than a few hours at a time. After my experience I now want to buy other colours to add to my collection!

moisturizing, high shine
The “Rebel” shade is a beautiful, deep red that manages to be rich and glossy without any of the tacky, waxy mess you usually get with high-shine sticks. It has a great weightless feel that melts on contact, and the oil-infused formula keeps things feeling hydrated rather than just sitting on top of the skin. It also has a nice, subtle scent that reminds me of cocoa butter. What I really like is the versatility; you can wear it as a sheer tint or build it up for a much bolder, more saturated look. Even as the gloss wears down, it leaves a really pretty, consistent stain behind so you aren’t constantly reapplying to keep the color.

STRONG color for a slippy lip oil
I have used Rimmel lip glosses off and on for years. I am a fan of their lip products, so I jumped at the chance to try this. This Slip Stick lip oil stick is very similar in texture to the NYX Fat Oil Slick Click, just a tiny bit more firm. The Rimmel is in a twist up package rather than a click up tube. The formula feels very smooth, glossy, and emollient. It is comfortable on the lips. My nose detects no scent. What concerns me about this product is how slick and slippy the formula is paired with how SATURATED the color is.I adore a red lip and regularly wear shades this bright and darker, but I generally choose transfer proof stains for a color this saturated so I don’t experience bleeding or migration of color.I would consider this a high maintenance formula due simply to the lack of transfer resistance paired with the saturation of the shade. This formula would play better with a more sheer color.

Pigmented, lightweight, but NOT transfer-proof!
This lipstick actually ended up being a really flattering color on me, which is actually a welcome surprise! A lot of red lip products tend to lean into a more cool-toned pink, and as someone with a yellow undertone in my skin, that ends up looking really bad. This is a warm-leaning true red, and it looks incredible on warm skin tones! The formula glides on really smooth, isn’t sticky AT ALL, and feels very hydrating similar to that of a lip balm. It has a lovely scent that reminds me of coconut and baked goods, which I actually like. However, because it’s oil-based, it transfers like craaaazy. This is 100% a lipstick you NEED a lip liner for to keep it from bleeding into places it shouldn’t, and you also need to wipe it off before you eat anything or it’ll end up all over your face and teeth. It does eventually dry down and fade, but it’s still very transferable so be cautious if you’re meticulous. That being said, it also wipes off easily and leaves a light stain if wiped with a tissue, and comes off fully with no issues with a makeup wipe. It’s a good lipstick at a very reasonable price, especially if you’re looking for a high-gloss warm red!

Beautiful color, but application is tricky
I really wanted to love the Rimmel Oh My Gloss! Slip Stick 400 Rebel because I’ve had great experiences with other Rimmel products. The color is absolutely gorgeous and flattering, and it has a glossy, hydrating feel thanks to ingredients like cherry seed oil and ceramides that help it glide on smoothly. That said, the formula ended up being a little too oily for my preference. While it feels moisturizing, it also tends to smear easily and can be messy to apply if you’re not careful. Because of that, it didn’t wear as neatly as I’d hoped throughout the day.I still love the shade itself, but the application and wear just weren’t the best fit for me. If you like very glossy, balm-like lip products you might enjoy it more, but for me it’s a 3-star product overall.
