Nice compact, bronzer blends out easily.
This bronzer is nice. To me it feels like a cream to powder formula as it turns powdery pretty quickly. Some cream bronzers are very oily and don’t dry down, but this one dries down quickly. I like that it blends out pretty seamlessly. It’s the perfect summer shade for me, not too orange. Very smooth and I can tell it would be easy to smudge on your eyes too for a quick eyeshadow look. The compact is very nice. It’s magnetic so if you wanted to you could switch it out for a pot of something else. It’s very sturdy and the design is cute.

I have several items of this brand name and love them a lot. You get subtle effects that look natural. You might do contouring, but it will be slight. With that contouring, you might also add a healthy-looking glow with a minimum of blush and highlighter. This minimalist-style product might seem too greasy if you have added slick moisturizing creams and oils to prepare for your makeup application. This product might be great if you have an oily skin texture; this cream-to-powder is a good addition for avoiding breakouts.For comparison’s sake, I have done well with a more noticeable bronzer, but for a similar look, I will sometimes apply a small dab of that high-impact blush at the center of the apple of the cheek and blend it out tastefully. Now, with the subtle bronzer I am reviewing, we have makeup that renders a more delicate, natural look. I recommend experimenting by trying different ones to see what you like. This product may be compatible with various products, or see what complements your assets. This is not a special effect sort of bronzer, just something to mimic a more delicate bronze look without metallics, sparkles, or the sun. My husband calls me “Makeup Queen”. However, I usually stick with a few items. I tried many products, but this one has the softest look, blurs some, and is not too easy to be applied heavy-handed.Whether using this or a dot highly-pigmented contour, I like a “less is more.” effect. I would use a more subtle look like this at a wedding or somewhere I want to look alluring but blend in and not stand out too much. For example, I have seen women with already decent features overdoing the contouring, which is too noticeable in photos. I have high cheekbones and deep-set eyes, so I might be better off using a product like this to enhance my complexion and look healthy, not necessarily for a color pop. This is a great gifting item. You can always give this to women of age and grace who like to minimize wrinkles and fine lines. This would be a thoughtful gift that tells her you care. Wash this off with any makeup cleanser. This lovely product might cost you some, but I want to assure you that the compact is extraordinary in its value. It comes with a mirror. If you take this in your day bag, you will love the convenience and the confidence that you will only need a few other makeup items as you travel. Beautiful!
First of all, this bronzer has beautiful packaging. I appreciate brands that go the extra mile to make something that will look nice on my vanity. The next best thing about the packaging is that it is reusable/refillable! That was a nice bonus that I wasn’t expecting, and will cut down on waste. The bronzer itself is a neutral light brown (not too warm, not too cool), and blends easily. The formula is soft and smooth, with good color payoff. A lot of bronzers have sparkle, but I could not detect any in this product, so it could easily double as a contour.

A bit too dark for lighter skin tones
The formula of this bronzer is amazing. It’s a silky and smooth cream bronzer that blends out beautifully, however it’s a little bit too dark for my skin tone. I think as summer progresses and I get a little more tan, it might work better for me. I used a lesser amount the second time and used setting powder after which helped to mute the darkness a little tiny bit. The compact itself is refillable, it has a very nice case. This bronzer would be perfect for someone that’s not quite as fair as I am. Overall, it’s lovely to use, just wish it were more my shade!

Too Cakey
I was hopeful for this bronzer and hoped it would help blend into my skin but provide a light coverage in the right places. Instead it was heavy and acted more like a concealer or foundation. You need the least amount to use get the most out of it. Maybe I wasn’t using it correctly but I did not like it.

Not happy. In the pictures it shows you a white compact and which is why I bought it. Was sent a black compact! Not happy. Product also is not deep enough for tan skin colour.

Wow
I have only ever tried one Trish McEvoy product before, the Instant Eye Lift, and it’s a great product, so I knew this bronzer would be good. It’s actually great. It’s such a beautiful creamy formula and the color is perfect! I don’t like when a bronzer is too orange but this is more neutral and it looks beautiful on. I live in FL and it’s already getting hot enough to sweat, but this stayed on perfectly all day. I’m definitely going to be trying out more products by Trish.

Cream bronzer of my dreams
If the beautiful compact that housed Trish McEvoy’s bronzer was indication as to the quality of the product, then I’d say I was in for one extraordinary product. And thankfully for me, that’s exactly what I got. This cream bronzer is such a dream, it blends beautifully and doesn’t leave my skin with any harsh lines or give it a streaky appearance. It brings warmth to my face and helps to perfectly contour the angles of my face. I love the color and longevity of it, and how light it feels on. I wish I could give it 10 stars, it’s that phenomenal.
