Vibrant and long lasting
My son loves face paint, and with these including brushes of different sizes it wad a bonus. There are lots of basic colours to choose from and they are oil based. The colours go on vivid but are a bit thick on the brush so my first attempt took a while to get the right consistency on the brush so that it wasn’t dragging. I’m not sure what you can use to loosen it up because water isn’t going to do much but I’ll look further in to that. Cleaning is also a bit messy because the pigment seems to go on forever- I had red hands and tea towels! As soon as they arrived we did a quick heart on the cheek because it was nearly bedtime. It did transfer quite a bit and I was worried about it smudging everywhere but my son didn’t want to take it off. I blotted it with tissue and used a powder brush to dab on a bit of baby powder and the result was it was still there the following morning and no obvious smears over the pillow! The colours blend easily together too. The next morning we did a basic rushed (and questionable) bowser face at 6am, brushed with baby powder and it was still there upon his return home at 6pm. I needed to use my oil based cleanser to remove it but he still has a slightly green tint on his face and orange eyebrows, so it does stain, but I think with some better remover and a more cooperative 3 year old it will come off okay, it’s just something to be aware of!

Good Colour Selection, They’re Oil-Based And Will Smudge
This is a fun face paint kit with a good variety of colours and everything needed to get started right away. The included brushes are a nice bonus, and having 20 shades in one palette makes it easy to create everything from simple designs to more elaborate looks.The paints are creamy, blend easily, and clean up much more easily than I expected. I was able to remove them without a lot of scrubbing, which is always appreciated.The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that these are oil-based paints, so they will smudge more easily than water-activated face paints that dry down completely. If you’re planning to wear the makeup for an extended period or in hot conditions, or if you have kids that tend to get messy, you’ll likely want to set it with powder. It still won’t fully set, but it’ll help.I also noticed that pigmentation varies between colors. Some shades are bold and opaque with minimal effort, while others require a few layers to achieve the same intensity.Overall, this is a decent face and body paint kit with a good colour range, useful brushes, and easy cleanup. As long as you understand that it’s an oil-based formula and plan accordingly, it works very well for creative makeup looks.

I got this UCANBE Montmartre face and body paint palette mostly for Halloween, so I have not gotten to go completely all out with it yet, but I have already practiced with it for the Fourth, a block party, and just for fun at home. So far, I am really impressed. I already love UCANBE as a brand, and this kit feels like another one of those surprisingly good finds from them.The first thing I love is the color selection. You get 20 bold shades arranged by color family, so it is easy to look at the palette and immediately know where to go for blues, reds, greens, purples, yellows, grays, black, and white. The colors look bright in the palette and actually show up well on skin, which is exactly what I want for Halloween, cosplay, festivals, sports looks, or creative makeup.The pans are also nice and deep, so this does not feel like one of those tiny novelty face paint kits where you use it twice and hit the bottom. There is a good amount of product here, especially for the price. The included brushes are a great bonus too. I always appreciate when a kit includes tools that are actually usable, and these give you different shapes and sizes for line work, details, blending, and filling in larger areas.The most important thing to know is that this is an oil-based paint palette, not a water-activated face paint. Really good face and body paint palette.
This palette of body and face paint from Ucanbe is very nice. The colors are bright and bold and they go on the body just the same as you see them in the palette. You can use the colors straight out of the pan or you can mix colors on another palette to get the absolutely perfect color for what you want to do. The colors are soft and easy to spread with the brushes included. It is also so nice that they included brushes. The amount of product is great. Also the pans are deep and clear so you can see when you are going to run out so it won’t be a surprise. The colors come off pretty easily with makeup remover , with the exception or the red, which lingers a little longer but you don’t notice too much the next day and definitely gone after that. This is a great set and I highly recommend it.

These are pretty basic face paints, but they work well enough for what I needed them for. The colors go on easily and are reasonably opaque, although some of the lighter colors take a little more layering to get good coverage. They’re easy enough to blend and clean off without too much trouble.I also like having a bunch of colors in one set, since it gives you enough options without having to buy individual paints. I wouldn’t call these professional-quality face paints, but for kids’ face painting, costumes, parties, etc., they seem perfectly adequate. Overall, nothing particularly special, but a decent little set for the price.

I love UCANBE and this body fade paint oil palette is no exception. Please be sure to practice with it before your final use so you know how much time it has to set, especially if you will be layer it. If you rush it, the paint can smudge since it is oil base. Also, be sure to have a good option to remove the paint because water alone won’t be enough. Normal makeup removers should do but for more stubborn colors, you can try an oil based cleanser to remove the paint. This palette has so many colors so you can easily achieve a variety of looks. The brushes work nicely with this palette but you may want to have a few sponges on hand to enhance the use of the palette. Most of the colors are vibrant and do not require building to get the look you want. To keep the paint in place for long periods, I also recommend a setting spray or powder. Again, these are oil based so if you rub on them, they can smear if not set.The quality of colors and and amount you get means this set will last you. The quality of the paint is excellent with a creamy texture and smooth application. At this price, I feel you are getting an extremely great value!

I got these face paints so I could paint my boyfriend’s face like his favorite wrestler (Danhausen) and they work perfectly and are super vibrant and pigmented. I was expecting good quality since I like UCANBE’s makeup and these lived up to my expectations. I appreciate that it comes with 10 brushes too; everything you need to paint faces and you can do lots of different looks with this palette, it’s very versatile. He used oil cleanser to remove at the end of the night followed with a standard face cleanser and it removed the face paint fully (the dark red did leave some minor staining but it faded away by the next morning thankfully). I highly recommend.

Great vibrant kit for any event with nice brushes
these are really smooth paints and its pretty satisfying. I love how many different brush sizes it comes with so we can really get as detailed as we are feeling that day. Oil paints so they stay on well and are easy enough to wash off. The kids love them and the colors are really vibrant. Each color has its own section obviously but unlike some water color type palettes these have a little bit more wall to them so it isnt so easy to get the colors mixed up which is nice. The brushes are fine quality as well. Good materials all around and i love the case for the paints so we dont make a mess packing it up. this will be great for cheer practice face paints or halloween or even birthdays. Awesome set.

Smooth application, bright colours, and great blending characteristics
I’m used to using water-based face paints, so when I saw this UCANBE oil-based set I wanted to give it a try. I have to say I’m impressed, as you get a good quantity of paint, all the brushes you’ll need, and the application is smooth producing vibrant results.The paint comes nicely packaged in a sturdy plastic tray. Each “well” of the tray is deep, meaning you get a good deal of each colour. You also get three times the amount of both black and white paint as any other colour, which makes sense considering they’re used more frequently. In addition to the paint you get a pack of nine brushes that come in various shapes and sizes, and while those that do face/body painting may have their own, it’s convenient these are included. The brushes have soft bristles and perform well.Application of the paint was straight forward, and since these are oil based you don’t need to constantly be mixing in water to apply the colours. Blending was smooth, and the finished result was good as the colours were bright. I didn’t react to the paint in any way, which was a bit of a concern initially, so glad to confirm they are skin-safe.If there is one drawback it’s that the paint does rub off quite easily, especially on clothing. As you can see from the image I opted to try this on a shoulder, but once the sleeve was put down the image quickly became smeared. If you’re applying this to a face it shouldn’t be an issue, assuming you’re not wearing a mask, but any other area that might come in contact with a costume is likely to get impacted.Overall, a really nice paint set and one I’m looking forward to using for quite some time. The pricing also seems reasonable, and certainly in keeping with other oil-based paints in this category. Therefore, if you’re looking for good performing oil-based face paints that will deliver vibrant and easy-to-blend results, this is a great option.
