These glitters AND face “gems” glow in the dark in the traditional sense (you don’t need to be under special black lighting)!The face gems are really easy to apply, because they come on clear backing stickers. Unfortunately, the stickers are sticky on both sides, so even though it says you can use them more than once, I wouldn’t expect them to last a super long time since they can pick up lint and dirt on the outfacing side. But they give a fun and fancy look, that looks like it took a lot more time than it did!My glitter palette came cracked, which was disappointing, but hopefully just an issue with mine. The glitters come with applicators and are very easy to apply. My favorite one is the plain silver one (top center). It reflects so many colors and is really pretty. For those who don’t like microplastics, I wanted to mention that these appear to be old-school, traditional glitter.

These were the perfect addition for a dragonfly costume! They actually glowed, surprisingly well! They had excellent sticking power and lasted a preschooler Halloween party AND trick-or-treating. The face/hair glitter worked well but beware with hair use, a week later and daily baths, there is still glitter on her scalp. To our surprise some of the colorful glitter was glowing too! Would definitely recommend.

So if you follow me and the products I try out you know I’m all about UV reactive and glow in the dark body decorations. So had to try these YGDZ Glow in The Dark Face Glitter, and Face Jewels!I’ve not seen glowing face jewels till now! I got my blacklight ready because not only is there glowing glitter gel in this kit to get your checks full of fairy farts! (I had a dear friend refer to my cheek decorations as fairy farts) but there is also glowing jewels! Sign me up!I really like the peel and stick jewels when traveling because then I don’t need to bring glue and a box of tiny gems that can be a little challenging to keep up with.I tested on the back of the hand as usual. The gems stayed on all day. The glitter will reflect UV but not all of the sparkles in the color gels glow in the dark but at least some of the sparkles/glitter does. As for how long it stayed on my hand I’d say 3/4 was gone by end of day. I think the “gel” the glitter is in just doesn’t continue to hold once it gets more dry. As a bonus, you won’t have as much to wipe off your face at the end of the night.Overall pretty good value for under 8 bucks for a 3 pk of actual glowing gems (some are only UV reflective) these gems glow! I would just consider the sparkle glitter gel a bonus.
