Bought this to use for easier clean up when we do at home manicures, can’t figure out how to get it into the polish bottle. Stuff is easy to apply (but we are still learning how to get a really clean edge) and easy to remove. It works well for our purpose.

not what I expected, but perfect for what I wanted
I used this as a skin barrier to paint my nails and it worked really well for that. I used a cheap glass dropper to put this in a lip gloss bottle, it was quick and easy and pretty good clean up, the bottle was easy to refill and even in a half empty container it doesn’t dry out(I think I’ve had it for a couple months now) my problem with this product is that the color drys way darker than I expected and you can’t get it on thick so I really doubt the pictures. But for what I wanted it was perfect. It dried really quick on my fingers and removes quickly and easily

It peels off really nicely, too
I purchased this to use as a barrier on the skin around my nails for stamping and doing gradients and it works really well. It can be transferred to an old polish bottle by using a medicine syringe, but I found that just dipping the angled end of a cuticle stick in the tub and gently dabbing the latex on my skin worked perfectly. It peels off really nicely, too, as long as you don’t spread it too thinly.

This review is for Liquid Latex Fashions, Fluorescent Violet 4 Oz – Face and Body Paint Black Light UV Reactive.This has a slightly fishy odor, as most liquid latex does. Though, it’s not really bad. I mostly only smell the odor, when I open the tub. It dries quickly. Once it’s dry, it doesn’t have any odor.It’s not the pink leaning purple color, that’s shown in the listing. It’s more of a lavender color. Once it’s dry, it turns into a much darker purple. It is UV/black light reactive. It looks like a neon pastel pink, while under black light. You can kinda see this, in my attached video.I use it for nail art, specifically as a cuticle protector, while doing nail stamping, or other messy nail art. It helps minimize clean up. It applies easily, and peels off easily. I find a slightly thick coat peels off better than a thin coat. I usually add another thin coat, about 10-15 seconds after applying the first coat. You can use tweezers, like I did in my attached video. Or, just use a finger, to kinda roll it off. Overall, I’m happy with it. Though, it would be nice if it dried to a lighter color purple, instead of a dark purple. You’ll definitely know when it’s dry. 😉

Such a money saver!
Like so many other reviewers here, I bought this tub of liquid latex for use when doing messier manicures that involve things like sponging or stamping. Many nail art companies sell teeny little bottles for a ridiculous amount of money, and twice I’ve gotten one of those pricey bottles only to discover the product is dried and clumpy and useless. One of them cost *$15* and that was when I knew something had to change. Enter Liquid Latex Fashions. The 7 ounce tub I bought cost right about the same amount as the less expensive manicure-specific bottles, but I can refill a nail polish sized bottle 10 times or more from this one tub. It doesn’t stain or leave any kind of residue, and peels off effortlessly. If you’re in the market for a peel-off product for mani/pedis then this is definitely for you.

Perfect for nail art
I use this for nail art and it’s great!! I just use acetone and clean out an old nailPolish bottle and use a dropper to transfer the latex to the nail polish bottle. I use it so much and I feel like I hardly used any so this will deff last a very long time. I also love the color.

Dries DARK.
When this product dries, it gets SEVERAL shades darker (be prepared for being dark purple). Effective, though – lasted for several hours, over a latex prosthetic (which it then bonds to as it’s made of the same material). If you want to reuse your prosthetic, I don’t recommend using latex body paint, but if you want a pretty seamless look, then this is great. Color was the most upsetting part – for reference, the wig in the picture is the same color as the wet body paint.
