This actually applies more smoothly and evenly than a lot of cheap costume face paints that immediately turn streaky or patchy. The color payoff is strong enough to work well for cosplay/SFX looks without needing a million layers, and it blended reasonably easily during application. I tested it for fantasy/cosplay-style makeup looks and it photographed nicely under lighting. It does take some effort to fully remove afterward, especially around the hairline, but overall it performed well for costume/body paint use.

Great coverage, dries down well, and stays amazingly. Wore it to see Primus and was in the mosh pit almost the whole time so I was super sweaty, even got hit in the face a couple times and it still held up. I showered in the makeup once to test how waterproof it was and it didn’t budge. Irritates my eyes a little but I think my eyes are sensitive, because so does any other makeup around my eyes. A little bit hard to wash off, butBelow is a before and after picture from going to see Primus. This review is in no way a joke, just genuinely amazing foundation.

OPAQUE as can be!
This is a VERY opaque foundation. I was so surprised to see that it swipes on SOLID blue. It’s going to be so fun for Halloween, or for anyone who is doing crazy make up transitions. The color is gorgeous, and the feel is a bit greasy and thick, but that’s to be expected with how opaque it is. I swiped it on the back of my hand, spread it out, took a picture for the review, and then tried to wash it off. It would not budge with hand soap and water. I had to get a make up remover pad. It did come off fine with the makeup remover, but something to keep in mind. This doesn’t come off easily which is good as you don’t want this to move once you place it. So impressed!

Good light blue body paint with a pump top dispenser
“Matte Liquid Foundation Light Blue Face/Body Paint”. The 5-7/8″ tall bottle contains 1.69 fluid ounces (50 mL).The bottle has a pump top dispenser (I think this is the first time I’ve ever gotten face paint like that!), so it’s very easy to use. You can apply the makeup with your fingers, a sponge, brush, etc. (I used the latter). It goes on with nice coverage, although you might need a second coat here-and-there. The blue color looks good and is uniform. You can wash the paint off again pretty easily with soap and water.It works fine, good for dressing up as any fictional character that has a light blue skin tone. The price is a tad high ($9.99 as I write this) for the quantity though.

Nicely pigmented, feels just like regular foundation
I’m actually pretty impressed with this product! It has a lightweight, non-greasy feel to it, so it’s already a huge improvement over your typical grease paint in that regard. It’s also pretty highly pigmented! You can see in the one photo of my arm how much coverage I was able to get out of one pump before it started getting too sheer, and those streaks only appeared because I had been spreading it quite a bit and just using my fingers. It’s really not streaky when first applied or when done with a brush or beauty blender. It’s definitely NOT transfer proof though, so let it dry for several minutes and then apply a good setting powder/spray, especially if using it on your body!
